Wind advisory for Northern California until Wednesday evening

Northern California was placed under a wind advisory by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 12:10 a.m. The advisory is valid between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The NWS San Francisco CA said, “South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure loose outdoor objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.”
