A condo in Oakland that sold for $540,000 tops the list of the most affordable real estate sales in Alameda, Piedmont and Oakland in the past week.

For comparison, the overall average price of real estate in the area during that time was $1.4 million, or $749 per square foot. A total of 15 home sales were recorded for the period with an average square footage of 1,867 square feet, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

For the purpose of this top 10 list, we included real estate that sold for between $10 and $10,000,000.

Please note that the prices in the list below are for real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of March 11, even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $1.3 million, single-family home in the 6400 block of Valley View Road

The 1,124 square-foot single-family home in the 6400 block of Valley View Road in Oakland has now been sold.
