What kind of training do ICE agents get?

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents dumped in Minneapolis recently, and horribly, seem to have had lackluster instruction at best. I’m a retired cop, seven years a civilian, but I distinctly remember we all had training on how to safely approach motorists.

Our orders were: If the driver hit the gas, get out of the way! We almost never stood in front of a car, unless that driver had been taken out from behind the wheel and we had backup.

What kind of training — if any — is ICE getting? Not even close to the Chicago Police Department’s standards. And who is falling down on the job of keeping them on the straight and narrow?

Are they sworn law enforcement officers? Prove it.

A nod to our allies

God bless our wonderful neighbor and ally to the north as well as our allies across the pond in Denmark and Greenland. May they be protected from the old warmonger in the White House who has gone completely bonkers and does not represent the will of the people.

We should also stand firm with the freedom fighters of Ukraine who better represent who we are as Americans than President Donald Trump ever could. He will sell them out to his buddy Vladimir Putin if we don’t stop him.

Flames Get Devastating Injury Update on Huberdeau

And let us honor the memory of the beautiful person, Renee Nicole Macklin Good, who was recently killed during another tragic U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement stop. As is his custom, Trump seeks to make a terrible situation even worse by putting his own lying spin on it. He is taking us to a very dark place as he gives new meaning to an old term: The Ugly American.

Questioning American values on guns, drugs

Donald Trump is purportedly going after Venezuela for supplying the U.S. with drugs that are killing Americans, but apparently that same logic doesn’t work when it comes to gun manufacturers supplying guns that are killing Americans.

The gun rights people say that gun deaths are the price we have to pay for “freedom.” Using that logic, all drugs might as well be legalized, and if people die from overdoses, well, that’s the price we have to pay for “freedom.”

Leave Greenland alone

How about if the U.S. takes over Greenland, China gets to take over Hawaii? Sound fair?
