Westbound Interstate 70 in Aurora is closed Thursday morning due to a crash near Peña Boulevard, according to police.

The westbound lanes of I-70 closed starting at exit 283 for Chambers Road around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a statement from the Aurora Police Department. There is no estimate on when the interstate will reopen.
