U.S. 6 will be closed overnight between Interstate 70 and Colorado 119 starting at 6 p.m. for tunnel inspections, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The highway through Clear Creek Canyon will be closed from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday, state officials said in a travel advisory.
The same stretch of U.S. 6 will be closed overnight Monday starting at 8 p.m. The highway will reopen at 7 a.m. April 30.
Drivers can take I-70 as an alternate route around the closure, CDOT officials said.
The closures may change based on weather and updated information will be posted at cotrip.org.
