Tyler Reddick has opened the NASCAR season with the kind of momentum most drivers spend an entire year trying to build.
Through the first four races of the year, the 23XI Racing driver has already reached Victory Lane three times. That run has quickly turned him into one of the biggest storylines of the early season as the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for race No. 5 of the schedule.
Now the question shifts from how Reddick started the year to whether the streak can continue.
Las Vegas might be one of the places where it can.
The intermediate track has quietly become one of the stronger venues on Reddick’s schedule, with a series of competitive runs there over the past several seasons.

Despite a couple of rough finishes, Reddick has frequently shown speed at the Nevada track. He owns five Top-10 finishes in eight Cup Series starts at Las Vegas, including the runner-up finish in 2024.
For a driver entering the weekend with early-season momentum, that kind of record matters.
Las Vegas Often Rewards Intermediate Track Strength
Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of several 1.5-mile tracks that help reveal which teams have found speed early in the season.
The layout rewards drivers who can maintain pace over long green-flag runs while carefully managing tire wear. Teams that show strong intermediate-track setups often find themselves competing near the front at multiple races throughout the year.
Reddick has developed a reputation as one of the stronger drivers on this style of track. His aggressive approach entering the corner and his ability to carry speed through the middle of the turn have translated well to intermediate layouts like Las Vegas.
Since joining 23XI Racing, that strength has become even more noticeable as the organization has continued to improve its performance on intermediate tracks.
That combination has frequently placed Reddick in contention at similar venues across the schedule.
Could Las Vegas Extend Reddick’s Early-Season Run?
The Cup Series season is still young, but Reddick’s early results have already placed him firmly in the championship conversation.
Winning three of the first four races has created rare early momentum in a series where victories are typically spread across many teams. Maintaining that pace is never easy, but tracks where a driver has historically run well can provide the best opportunity.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway has increasingly looked like one of those places for Reddick.
His results at the track show a driver who consistently finds speed and often positions himself inside the Top 10. With the Cup Series returning to the Nevada oval this weekend, Reddick arrives with both strong recent form and a track record that suggests he could once again be a factor.
