On Tuesday night, the Cincinnati Reds will host the San Francisco Giants in Ohio.

The Reds are coming off a 9-6 loss to the Los Angeles Angels (also at home).

Before Tuesday’s game, the Reds announced that they had made a trade with the Baltimore Orioles.

The Reds wrote: “The #Reds today traded IF Christian Encarnacion-Strand to the Orioles in exchange for cash considerations.”

Encarnacion-Strand appeared in 36 games for the Reds last season.

He has not played for them this season.

The 26-year-old is batting .233 with 21 home runs, 72 RBI’s and 55 runs in 128 games across three seasons (all with the Reds).
