In an interview with ASAP Sports on the second day of the 2026 Masters Tournament at Augusta National commenced, Tommy Fleetwood candidly revealed his goals and intentions for this year’s most exclusive golf competition. In particular, it was when he was posed with questions about his bogeys that Fleetwood issued an elaboration on his new outlook, saying, “I mean, there’s going to be bogeys out there, and it’s your job to accept them and move on. I did so much good stuff. There’s no point dwelling on something that was not great.”

When posed with a follow-up question about how he sees himself at the 2026 Masters following the aforementioned bogey situation, he replied, “Well, I mean, very, very happy. Today was a great round, and I think – that was late on a Friday. Like, the eagle on 15, you know, in that corner having a moment like that and playing the stretch there where you’re in contention on Friday, it’s exactly where you want to be.”
