Tiger Woods’ Last Instagram Post Before Crash & Arrest

It has been a concerning few days for Tiger Woods after the PGA Tour star was involved in a car accident and later arrested. Despite the controversy, there continues to be an increased interest in Woods’ clothing brand Sun Day Red.

Prior to the crash, Woods’ last Instagram post was an ad for Sun Day Red’s new clothing drop ahead of the Masters.

“A legacy unlike any other,” the post read from Sun Day Red and Woods. “The Spring Traditions Collection: Drop 1 is available at the link in bio. #SunDayRed”

Woods’ arrest comes days after the star competed in the TGL championship. The golfer previously left the door open to potentially competing at the Masters, but the latest incident puts Woods’ status at Augusta National in serious doubt.

Woods’ mugshot featured himself wearing a light blue Sun Day Red polo which appears to have sold out following the star’s arrest. Here’s a look at Woods’ latest Instagram post prior to the unfortunate accident.

Tiger Woods on Masters: ‘I Keep Trying’

Woods has remained non-committal about his playing status for the Masters. The star previously indicated that he planned to be in Augusta for the Masters Champions Dinner as well as the unveiling of a golf course Woods has been partnering with Augusta National to build.

“As I said, I’ve been trying,” Woods told reporters on March 24, following his TGL performance, per The Mirror. “Just this body, it doesn’t recover like it did when it was 24, 25. It doesn’t mean I’m not trying. I’ve been trying for a while. I’ve had a couple of bad injuries here over the past years that I’ve had to fight through, and it’s taken some time.

“But I keep trying. I want to play. I love the tournament. I’ve loved being there since I was 19 years old. It’s meant a lot to me and my family over the years. I’m going to be there either way with The Loop that’s going up there, as well as the Champions Dinner.”

Marion County Sheriff on Tiger Woods’ Arrest: ‘He Was Not Trying to Incriminate Himself’

The accident and arrest calls into question whether Woods will maintain his plans to be in Augusta during the Masters, even if the star is not playing. Woods was arrested for suspicion of DUI and Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek indicated a breathalyzer test showed no signs of alcohol.

The golfer declined a urinalysis test following the accident, per ESPN’s Mark Schlabach. Budensiek indicated that Woods had referenced his injury history during his discussion with authorities following the accident.

“He is cooperative, but he was not trying to incriminate himself,” Budensiek said of Woods, per Schlabach. “So he was careful in what he said and didn’t say.

“… When I show you the photos, they kind of speak for themselves. You can see where he clipped the back of the trailer. You can see where he rolled. And then as he decelerates, sliding down on the driver’s door of the vehicle. You can see that he slid for a pretty decent space before he came to a stop.”
