The upcoming Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding promises to be the event of 2026, and people are fixated on this couple as the date nears. Amid the hype and excitement of that wedding date, Swift and Kelce haven’t been seen out together in public a lot. But, that just changed.
Of course, the wedding planning is also happening as Kelce decides if he’s going to return to the NFL and Kansas City Chiefs for the 2026-27 season. According to NFL analyst Tom Pelissero, Kelce is in talks with the Chiefs to return.
“They have already been in contract talks,” Pelissero reported about Kelce and the Chiefs during an interview on “The Rich Eisen Show” on February 20. “Obviously, Travis has a lot going on in his life outside of football and decisions to make,” he added.
Now, Swift and Kelce, amid their wedding planning, were spotted out on Tuesday, February 24, on a quiet date night. The cameras were there, though, so the date wasn’t as low-profile as expected.

So, on Tuesday, February 24, Swift and Kelce were doing a date night in New York City. According to a report from In Style magazine, the two were at Chez Margaux.
“Inspired by the elegance of Paris in the 1930s and London’s renowned nightlife culture, Chez Margaux promises a level of hospitality, community, and ambiance merging these rich experiences,” the restaurant states on their official website. They add, “Peppered throughout the club are a myriad of private spaces to tuck yourself into or to host special dinners or drinks gatherings of all sizes.”
According to the report, Swift “wore an all-black ensemble with a few Louis Vuitton logos,” adding that “she rocked a look that screamed ’90s minimalism with the addition of a few little Louis Vuitton logos, of course.”
“Swift wore a simple black wrap wool coat over a black top and black leather knee-high boots,” the publication added. “She rolled up her sleeves, revealing a beige-and-black Vuitton logo print. She completed the look with a black Louis Vuitton handbag, delicate earrings, and her signature red lip.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Watched the Games Together
While they’re planning their wedding, Kelce opened up about what the two have been doing during their downtime. In the Wednesday, February 25, “New Heights” episode, he said that the two watched the “entire” men’s hockey final during the Olympics. How romantic, right?
Also, as people try to figure out where these two are getting married, a report from NBC News Boston is shying away from the idea of them getting married at Watch Hill in New England, which has been the favorited venue.
In the report, Amelia Fabiano states, “Watch Hill is a picturesque corner of Westerly, Rhode Island. It’s home to Taylor Swift’s well-known mansion, High Watch, perched above the ocean off a public beach access point.”
But Fabiano says that a wedding there “would take major coordination” and that none of that has happened yet, at least in any documentation or research.
