The raid happened in the 100 block of Applewood Common about 7 a.m., according to a statement from Brentwood police. Two people were detained during the raid, but police said they did not make any arrests.

The SWAT team used drones and an Armored Rescue Vehicle while performing the search, police said.

Police said they recovered four guns and a “large amount” of illegal drugs.

The raid came because of an ongoing police investigation that they did not comment about further. Police said the results of the investigation will be forwarded to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

According to police, there was no threat to public safety.
