Police shut the southbound side of Federal Boulevard in Westminster on Friday morning after a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The Westminster Police Department posted on X at 7:40 a.m. that the parties involved in the incident stayed on the scene and are cooperating with authorities. No further details were immediately available.
The southbound side of Federal Boulevard, also signed as U.S. 287 in that area, is closed between West 96th Avenue and Green Court, which is just a block south of West 96th Avenue. Police are advising motorists to take alternate routes to avoid the area.
