Sky sign Jordan Hobbs, Sidney Cooks to training camp contracts

The Sky signed guard Jordan Hobbs and forward Sidney Cooks to training camp contracts. Hobbs was drafted No. 34 out of Michigan in the 2025 WNBA Draft, though she did not make the Storm’s final roster. She played with the Italian club San Martino this offseason, averaging 12.6 points on 38.1% shooting from three-point range.

Cooks is a 6-foot-4 big who played most recently for the Chinese club Shaanxi Red Wolves. She averaged 16.7 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Red Wolves. In college, she played for three different teams: Michigan State, Mississippi State and Seton Hall. She averaged 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and shot 35.6% from three.

The Sky’s roster now stands at 19 players. They can have 18 players at training camp at any given time. Sky center Elizabeth Williams is still playing overseas in the EuroLeague semifinals, which opens up an extra spot. She’d need to report to camp by May 1 per the WNBA’s prioritization rule, which applies to players with three or more years of service.

Training camp begins April 19 at UIC’s Flames Athletic Center.
