Despite having less than three career matches, WWE star Danhausen was among the highest in-stadium merchandise sellers at WrestleMania 42.
Known for spouting “You are cursed” before hexing his victims, Danhausen has quickly won favor among the WWE Universe.
According to a Fightful report, Danhausen, along with CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, finished as the top three in-stadium merchandise sellers during WrestleMania weekend.
Despite Danhausen’s surge in popularity since his debut in February, it’s surprising to see him outperform so many WWE superstars in sales.
Surpassing Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Jacob Fatu and Jade Cargill in merchandise sales is no small feat and highlights a growing Danhausen fanbase.
Danhausen has several t-shirt designs, custom sandals and a themed hat available on the WWE official shop.
Danhausen Made a Bizarre Appearance at Mania
While WrestleMania 42 host John Cena was announcing the event’s attendance, WWE star The Miz interrupted him.
Referring to their previous rivalry and WrestleMania title match, The Miz demanded to share another in-ring moment with Cena at the Show of the Immortals.
Suddenly, Danhausen, accompanied by a group of villainous mini-me versions, arrived to remove him from the ring.
During the intermission, Danhausen flashed Cena a smile. Instead of cursing him, Danhausen said it was a pleasure to meet the 17-time World Champion.
Danhausen did not compete at WrestleMania 42 and has yet to record a statement win in his young WWE career.

Most WWE stars grow their fanbase through gutsy performances, supreme fighting ability and notable title reigns.
Somehow, Danhausen has gained immense popularity with none of the aforementioned traits.
His fiendish, near-wicked antics have become a weekly attraction for WWE fans.
Recently, Danhausen won his first match due to a pyro malfunction, which he may or may not have influenced.
Backstage, Danhausen is often found cursing unsuspecting victims, who later experience misfortune.
After raking in revenue at WrestleMania 42, the Danhausen experience may just be getting started.

WWE announced on April 22 that WrestleMania 42 became one of the highest-grossing events in company history, with record or near-record performances across gate, sponsorship, merchandise, WWE World, On Location VIP experiences and digital.
“Across two nights at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, attendance reached 106,072 with tickets purchased from all 50 states and more than 69 countries,” WWE said in a press release.
“WrestleMania 42 featured a record 32 marketing partners, including Snickers, 2K, Riyadh Season, Ram, DoorDash, Wingstop, Wheatley American Vodka, Minute Maid, The General Insurance, PepsiCo’s MUG Root Beer and Chumba Casino.”
With over 100,000 tickets sold for the two-night spectacle, WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas is one of the most profitable pro wrestling events in history.
In addition to its massive attendance numbers, WrestleMania 42 set a new digital record, generating more than 1.3 billion views across all social platforms.
After consecutive years in Las Vegas, WrestleMania will be hosted in Riyadh in 2027. It will be the first WrestleMania hosted in a foreign country since WrestleMania X8 in Toronto.
