Scottie Scheffler’s Kids: Meet Bennett and Remy

Scottie Scheffler has become one of the most dominant players in golf, especially at The Masters, where he’s already captured two coveted green jackets. Off the course, his life looks a lot different—and arguably even more meaningful. Scheffler married his high school sweetheart, Meredith Scheffler (née Scudder), in December 2020. In the time since, their relationship has remained a steady foundation throughout his rapid rise in the golf world.

In recent years, the couple has started a family, welcoming their first son, Bennett, in 2024. Not long after, their family grew again when their second son, Remy, was born on March 27, 2026—just days before Scheffler headed to Augusta to compete once again at The Masters.

Balancing life as a world No. 1 golfer and a father of two young boys isn’t always easy, but Scheffler has made it clear that his priorities extend far beyond golf. In fact, he’s openly said that family comes first—a mindset that’s become increasingly evident as he embraces this new chapter as both a champion and a dad.

Scottie Scheffler’s Son Bennett Is no Stranger to the Golf Course

Bennett Scheffler made his grand entrance into the world on May 8, 2024.

“Welcome to the world little one. Your mom & dad love you so much,” Scottie captioned an Instagram post at the time.

It didn’t take long for Scottie to show his son golf, even if he’s still too little to really understand the ins and outs of the sport. Over the past two years, Bennett has been on the sidelines with his mom, cheering on his dad—and even bringing him some good luck.

Bennett made his golf tournament debut at the 2024 FedEx Cup—which his dad won—when he was just four months old.

Once he was able to walk, Bennett was a staple at the Masters Par 3 course in Augusta. Scottie is hopeful that his son ends up loving the game just as much as he does.

“You know, the game of golf taught me a tremendous amount,” he said according to Fox Sports. “You learn a lot of good life lessons by playing golf. So I hope he can play it one day and I hope he enjoys it as much as I do.”

In March 2026, Scottie withdrew from the Texas Children’s Houston Open—and for good reason. His wife was about to have another baby and Scottie wanted to be there. Remy Scheffler was born on March 27, 2026, and he’s already become acquainted with Augusta National.

Remy was just 9-days-old when his parents brought him to one of the most historic courses in the game.

As for how the youngest Scheffler got his name, Scottie said “we just liked it,” per the Associated Press. “We didn’t have very many good boy names, to be honest with you,” he added.
