Scottie Scheffler is married to Meredith Scudder, and the pair have been together since they were teenagers. The two attended high school together in Texas, then they maintained a long distance relationship during their college years before they eventually got married in 2020. Their relationship has been a constant source of encouragement and support for Scheffler on his rise to world No. 1.

One of the most meaningful milestones in Scottie and Meredith Scheffler’s lives and their longterm relationship came with the birth of their first child, son Bennett Scheffler, in 2024. Joining big brother Bennett is their second son, infant Remy Scheffler, who was born in March 2026. Scott and Diane Scheffler are the proud parents of the world No. 1 golfer, and it’s because of their encouragement and support of their son that Scottie Scheffler ever picked up a golf club to begin with. During Scottie’s childhood, his father was a stay-at-home dad who took him to and from golf practice, tournaments, and skills clinics. Scottie has repeatedly attributed his success in the sport to the privileges his parents afforded him during his youth and entry into golf.

Growing up, Scottie was raised in a household with four children – but he was the only boy! His three sisters –  Molly, Callie, and Sara – all played golf, too. As adults, the four Scheffler kids have continued to pursue the sport at the top levels as Scottie competes at the Masters at Augusta National and Molly works as a communications specialist for the PGA Tour. His sisters are regulars on the sidelines of Scottie’s competitions as they cheer him on, and his family will be present to support him at the 2026 Masters.
