Scottie Scheffler Sends Clear Message Days Before the Masters

He’s back. Scottie Scheffler has returned to social media just in time for the 2026 Masters.

“Nothing like @themasters Always grateful to play this course,” Scheffler captioned an Instagram post on Monday, April 6.

Scheffler withdrew from the Houston Open to be with his wife, who gave birth to their second child, Remy, at the end of March.

“We had another boy a couple of weeks ago, and, yeah, it’s been really nice and fun,” Scheffler told Golf Channel’s Cara Banks. “I’m really glad they were able to travel with me this week and you know, my wife is a trooper and brought the boys this week and, yeah it’s been fun.”

Now, Scheffler is hoping to get another green jacket—his third after winning The Masters in 2022 and 2024. He is set to tee off alongside Robert MacIntyre and Gary Woodland on Thursday, April 9. This will be Scheffler’s seventh Masters start over the course of his career.

Scheffler last competed in The Players Championship in early March.

Fans Reacted to Scottie Scheffler’s Instagram Post, Excited to See Him Play in Augusta

Scheffler doesn’t spend too much time on social media, and doesn’t post to Instagram super often. When he does post, he usually shares golf-related posts. After Scheffler confirmed that he’d be playing in the upcoming Masters Tournament, fans took to the comments section of the post to show him support.

“Shoutout Remy for the 3rd masters win,” someone else said.

“Best of luck this week, Scottie! Congratulations on the new baby,” a third comment read.

“Turn it up my man. Need that Sunday form kicking on Thursday,” a fourth Instagram user added.

“Time to flip the switch and add another green jacket to the mantle,” another comment read.

Scottie Scheffler’s Family Will Be Cheering Him On

Scheffler will have the full support of his family, including his wife, Meredith, their two sons, Bennett and Remy, and his parents, Scott and Diane Scheffler.

The whole Scheffler crew was spotted at Augusta National on Sunday, April 5, including Remy, who has yet to make his on-camera debut, according to the PGA Tour’s official website.

Family has long been a cornerstone of Scheffler’s success, with Meredith frequently seen walking alongside him during tournament weeks and celebrating his biggest wins. The couple, who met in high school, have maintained a low-key, grounded presence despite Scheffler’s rise to the top of the golf world. His parents have also been a steady presence, often attending events and offering quiet support behind the scenes.

As Scheffler competes on one of golf’s biggest stages, that close-knit support system remains firmly in his corner—something he’s often credited for keeping him focused and balanced under pressure.
