On Thursday night, the San Francisco Giants will host the New York Mets for the first of a four-game series.

They have gone 2-4 in their first six games of the new MLB season.

Over the offseason, the Giants had signed Eric Haase.

He is coming off a year where he appeared in 30 games for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Before the season began, Haase was released.

That said, he has now been brought back to the organization on a minor league deal.

Jeff Young of Around The Foghorn wrote: “It looks like Eric Haase is back with the Giants organization. He is in tonight’s lineup at catcher. Haase was originally released by the Giants at the end of spring training.”
