San Francisco Giants 2x World Series Champion Released By Current MLB Team

On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Angels will continue their series with the Chicago White Sox (at home) in California.

The Angels are coming off a 6-0 loss on Monday.

Also on Monday, the Angels organization released Hunter Strickland from his minor league deal (via MLB.com).

@AngelsMiLB wrote: “Angels MiLB Transactions: LHP Angel Perdomo released by AAA Salt Lake. RHP Hunter Strickland released by AAA Salt Lake. RHP Aneurys Zabala released by AA Rocket City.”

Strickland had gone 0-2 with a 13.14 ERA in ten Triple-A games this season.

The 37-year-old pitched for the Angels in 2024 and 2025.
