At one point in the season, Cunningham received some MVP hype. While he was a long shot to land the Most Valuable Player award in 2026, Cunningham still has a shot at All-NBA for the second season in a row, depending on whether the NBA permits it or not. The star guard will inevitably fall under 65 games played.

Awards might be out of the question, but Cunningham is still focused on getting his rhythm back. After Friday’s action, the Pistons will close out the regular season on the road against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
