The Phillies lost by a score of 5-3.
Bryce Harper finished the loss with one home run and two strikeouts in five at-bats.
Todd Zolecki of MLB.com wrote: “The Phillies lose their 10th consecutive game. It is the franchise’s longest losing streak since an 11-game losing streak from Sept 4-14, 1999. It is only their fifth losing streak of 10 or more games since 1972.”

After the game, Harper met with the media (h/t NBC Sports Philadelphia).
He made an honest statement.
Harper: “It’s not great. Obviously, not in the spot where we want to be… We can all say the everything everyday. Nobody wants to hear it. We just gotta win. Plain and simple… Just gotta continue to fight.”
