On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia Phillies will continue their series with the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

The Phillies are coming off a 2-1 win on Tuesday.

Trea Turner finished with one strikeout in four at-bats.

For Wednesday’s game, the Phillies have announced their starting lineup.

Turner is not in Wednesday’s lineup.

The three-time All-Star is currently batting .234 with 40 hits, four home runs, 13 RBI’s, 24 runs and four stolen bases in his first 41 games of the 2026 season.

Turner is in his fourth year playing for the Phillies.

He has also spent time with the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers over 12 MLB seasons.

In 2019, Turner helped lead the Nationals to the World Series Championship.

Over 1,307 career games, the 32-year-old is batting .295 with 1,571 hits, 190 home runs, 654 RBI’s, 894 runs and 319 stolen bases.

The Phillies come into Wednesday as the second-place team in the National League East with a 20-22 record in 42 games.

They are 8-10 in 18 games on the road.

Kyle Schwarber hit his sixth home run in the last five games on Tuesday.

ESPN Insights wrote: “Philadelphia slugger Kyle Schwarber has homered in five consecutive games. With a homer in tonight’s game vs. the Red Sox, he would set the Phillies’ franchise record for consecutive games with a home run.”

Following two more games with the Red Sox, the Phillies will visit the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday.
