Philadelphia Eagles Only Land 2 on NFL All-Pro Team

If the Philadelphia Eagles and their much-maligned offense are looking for any extra motivation this postseason, they should just pin the NFL All-Pro selections up somewhere in the locker room.

For the first time since 2020, no Eagles were selected to the NFL All-Pro offense. The snub puts an exclamation mark on a year in which the Eagles seemed to never find their footing on that side of the ball.

Only 2 Eagles, total, were named NFL All-Pro, with both on the first team defense with cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and slot cornerback Cooper DeJean.

It’s the first All-Pro selection for both players, who are both in their second seasons.

The Eagles put 6 players on the NFL All-Pro Team in 2024 on the way to winning the second Super Bowl in franchise history.

The Eagles had 4 NFL All-Pro selections in 2023 and 6 in 2022, when they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.

“Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean have been named first team All Pro,” NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark wrote on X on Saturday, January 19. “Last Eagles CB to be first team All Pro — Lito Sheppard over 20 years ago This is just the third time in NFL history two teammates on one side of the ball have been drafted in the first two rounds and made first team All Pro within their first two years.”

The Eagles earned the No. 3 seed in the NFC Playoffs and host the No. 6 seed San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, January 11 (3:30 p.m., Fox).

Eagles Duo Already Earned Pro Bowl Nods

Mitchell and DeJean also earned Pro Bowl selections for the first time this season.

“Philadelphia Eagles cornerbacks Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell, New England Patriots cornerback Christian GonzalezDallas Cowboys receiver George PickensMiami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane and a trio of Denver Broncos linemen are among the first-time Pro Bowl selections for the 2026 rosters, as announced by the league Tuesday,” The Athletic’s Jayna Bardahl wrote on December 23.

DeJean and Mitchell were 2 of 5 Eagles selected to the Pro Bowl along with inside linebacker Zack Baun, defensive tackle Jalen Carter and center Cam Jurgens. It’s the second consecutive Pro Bowl selection for Baun, Carter and Jurgens.

Mitchell was the Eagles’ first round (No. 27 overall) pick in the 2024 NFL draft out of the University of Toledo. DeJean, who was projected as a first round pick, was selected in the second round (No. 40 overall) out of Iowa.

Eagles Offense Went Off Cliff in 2025

The Eagles rolled to the Super Bowl win last season on the strength of running back and NFL Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley, who became just the ninth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a single season.

In 2025, Barkley had just 1,140 rushing yards in 16 games under a new offensive coordinator, Kevin Patullo, after last year’s offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, became head coach of the New Orleans Saints following the Super Bowl win.

Barring an unlikely run to another Super Bowl, there’s a good chance the Eagles might part ways with Patullo this offseason — especially considering the wide range of elite offensive coordinators who might be on the market.
