Person shot through window of Belmont Cragin home

A 41-year-old person was wounded in a shooting Friday evening in Belmont Cragin, Chicago police said.

The victim was inside a home in the 2100 block of North Mobile at 7:33 p.m. when someone fired a shot through a window, according to police.

They were taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood in serious but stable condition, police said.

Police said late Saturday that the victim knows the shooter.


Area Five Detectives were investigating, police said.
