Patriots Get Updated Odds to Win the Super Bowl for the 2026 Season

The New England Patriots tasted success in 2025, making it back to the Super Bowl. There, they would ultimately fall short to the Seattle Seahawks, before entering an offseason where the goal was to fix some key weaknesses on the roster.

Now, with the NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, teams around the NFL are coming together. So, DraftKings updated its odds to win the Super Bowl in 2026.

The New England Patriots are currently listed at +1600 to win the Super Bowl. That amounts to a tie for the eighth-best odds in the entire NFL. The Los Angeles Chargers are also listed as having +1600 odds to win it all.

Another Los Angeles team, the Rams, has the best overall odds at +800 to win the Super Bowl. Notably, the Patriots are also fourth among AFC teams in terms of their odds, trailing the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Among those teams, the Ravens have a new coaching staff and the Chiefs are still dealing with questions about Patrick Mahomes coming off an ACL injury.

The Bills coming in ahead of the Patriots translates to the divisional odds too. As of now, the Bills are -130 to win the AFC East while the Patriots currently sit at +130. DraftKings does have the division as a two-horse race. The New York Jets sit at +1800 and the Miami Dolphins are at just +3500.

A.J. Brown Could Change the Odds for the New England Patriots

While the NFL Draft and much of free agency are in the books, NFL teams aren’t done building their rosters for the 2026 season. Certainly, the New England Patriots have been rumored to not be done adding to the roster.

At this point, it’s expected that the Patriots will make a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for A.J. Brown. It’s just that the trade is going to need to wait for the month of June, for salary cap implications on the Eagles’ end.

The Patriots are expected to be sending draft picks back to Philadelphia. However, the addition of Brown is also likely going to mean that New England sends a wide receiver out at some point. The major rumors have swirled around Kayshon Boutte there.

All of that will shake up the Patriots roster and should shake up their Super Bowl odds. Of course, other teams will also have the opportunity to make roster moves too. So, these do remain early odds.

The Patriots Were Praised for Their NFL Draft Class

Ben Volin of The Boston Globe recently spoke to a rival GM of the Patriots. There, the GM praised how the Patriots and EVP of Player Personnel Eliot Wolf handled the draft.

“A rival GM said he ‘love(s)’ the Patriots’ second- and third-round picks, outside linebacker Gabe Jacas and tight end Eli Raridon, comparing them to Buccaneers pass rusher Ya-Ya Diaby and former Ravens tight end (now with the Chargers) Charlie Kolar,” Volin wrote.

That praise for the Patriots’ draft extended to the late rounds. There, the Patriots found depth that should be impactful in 2026.

“The GM believes sixth-round offensive tackle Dametrious Crownover is an intriguing developmental prospect and seventh-round linebacker Quintayvious Hutchins from Boston College ‘a great special teamer,’” wrote Volin.

Only time will tell just how well anyone’s draft class works out. For now, though, there is a lot to like about how the Patriots improved their roster.
