The 2026 NFL Draft is just 10 days away, and teams are conducting their final preparations this week. Teams have until Wednesday to host prospects at their facilities to hold last-minute interviews, evaluations, and workouts, and the Green Bay Packers are doing their due-diligence on a few prospects of their own.
After acquiring All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons from the Cowboys for a pair of first-round picks last August, the Packers do not own their first-round pick in this draft. They still have all the rest of their picks, however, including an extra seventh-rounder. Green Bay has two picks in the top 100: No. 52 in the second and No. 84 in the third.
The Green Bay Packers Host Tennessee WR Chris Brazzell II for a Visit

In the lead-up to the draft, teams are allowed to host up to 30 prospects for in-person visits — local prospects notwithstanding. These meetings are colloquially known as “top 30 visits” even though they aren’t always used to evaluate the top 30 players on a team’s board. In fact, more often they are used to get a head start on potential undrafted free agents.
The Packers’ latest visit certainly isn’t for a projected undrafted free agent, however. According to Ian Rapoport, the Packers are hosting Tennessee WR Chris Brazzell II this week, a player expected to go right in the range of Green Bay’s second-round pick.
A transfer from Tulane and the son of former Cowboys WR Chris Brazzell, Chris Brazzell II transferred to the Volunteers in 2024 and had a sensational breakout season in 2025. Last season, he posted 62 receptions for 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns, all while measuring 6-5. One of the best deep threats in the SEC, his size/speed combo is a deadly one, and he’s tailor-made to be a big-play threat on the outside in the NFL.
After trading away WR Dontayvion Wicks to the Eagles and losing WR Romeo Doubs to the Patriots in free agency, it makes sense for Green Bay to be at least monitoring the draft market at wide receiver. Brazzell would step right into the role that Wicks is vacating.
Brazzell has additional visit scheduled with the 49ers and Commanders, and already visited the Colts, Panthers, and Cardinals last week.
The Green Bay Packers Face a Tough Division in 2026
The Bears got off the mat and won the NFC North in 2025. The Lions had a down season and missed the playoffs, finishing last in the division but still posting a 9-8 record. Even the Vikings are a strong contender with better quarterback play. Where does that leave the Packers?
Right in the mix, that’s where. Green Bay isn’t going anywhere, but they’ll face a tough road to get back to the playoffs. After losing two of their top receivers from last season, the Packers have some reloading to do on offense. Fixing their defense might be the bigger concern, however, as will getting Parsons back healthy after a torn ACL prematurely ended his debut season in Green Bay.
