The Green Bay Packers once again struggled on special teams, a predicament that stretches back over a decade and spans over the course of multiple coordinators.
The failure to improve the unit was likely a major factor in the decision of former special teams coordinator Rich Bissachia’s decision to depart the organization and subsequently sign on to fulfill the same role at Clemson University.
The return game in particular struggled after former All-Pro returner Keisean Nixon moved to full-time cornerback, where he had a mixed, but by no means poor season.
As Nixon once again gears up to occupy one of the boundary corner slots in 2026, likely opposite new arrival Benjamin St. Juste (or even perhaps Riq Woolen), and with Romeo Doubs now officially departed for the New England Patriots, there is a big hole at the the returner slot.
However, according to a new report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Green Bay have agreed to sign former Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and kick returner Skyy Moore on a one-year deal.
