One suspect arrested in Texas, two at large in fatal Glendale shooting

Police have arrested one suspect and are searching for two more in connection to a fatal shooting last week in Glendale, according to a Tuesday release from the Glendale Police Department on X.

Authorities on Friday released photos of the three suspects. Sarah Sandoval, 21, is in custody in Texas. The two male suspects — one identified as Caleb Choice, 22 — are still at large. The other suspect is described as a tall black male with a medium build and a possible tribal tattoo on his right hand. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Police believe Choice and the other male suspect are in Texas and traveling to Florida.

The shooting occurred at about 3 a.m. Friday at The Phenix At Infinity Park apartment complex, according to previous reporting by the Denver Post.

When officers arrived they found two men with gunshot wounds, according to a news release from Glendale police. According to the Arapahoe County Coroner, Gianni Fernandez, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene and the other man was transported to the hospital with wounds that were not life-threatening.
