One killed, two injured in Brentwood collision involving motorcycle and a vehicle

BRENTWOOD — A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed and his passenger badly injured in a collision with a vehicle Saturday night, police said Tuesday.

The name of the man killed, a Brentwood resident, was not immediately released.

The collision happened about 10:33 p.m. Saturday on northbound Brentwood Boulevard at Valdry Court, police said.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His passenger, a 37-year-old Brentwood woman, was airlifted to a local hospital with major injuries, police said.

The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old Brentwood woman, remained on the scene and was cooperative with police before being transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation and there is no indication that alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the collision, police said.
