One killed in Denver shooting Friday morning, no arrests made

A Friday morning shooting in Denver left one man dead in the city’s Ruby Hill neighborhood, and police are searching for suspects.

Officers are investigating a shooting that happened in the 1600 block of South Federal Boulevard, the Denver Police Department said in a social media statement at 7:22 a.m. Friday.

One victim — an unidentified adult man — died from his injuries at the scene, police said in a 7:50 a.m. update.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, the update stated.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
