One dead, one hospitalized in overnight Glendale shooting

An early morning shooting in Glendale killed one man and sent another to the hospital, police said.

Officers are investigating a shooting that happened in the 4700 block of East Mississippi Avenue, the Glendale Police Department posted on X at 4:54 a.m. Friday.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the post stated.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
