Jokic has clearly established himself as one of the top players in the NBA. Every year for over five years, Jokic has been in the MVP conversation as a runner-up or winner.
As for Murray, heâs been solid but struggled to break through to become an All-Star. That all changed in 2025-2026.
Jamal Murray was voted as an All-Star for the first time in year nine. He wrapped up the regular season with averages of 25.4 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.4 rebounds. Now, heâs off to an impressive start for the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
Murray and the Nuggets won the NBA title in 2023. After coming up short over the past two seasons, Murray and Jokic are searching for another title. They are off to a decent start after taking down the Timberwolves with a 116-105 score.
The two teams will be back on the court for Game 2 on Monday, April 20.
