Nick Sirianni Sends Clear Message on Eagles Legend Brandon Graham

Brandon Graham retired from the Philadelphia Eagles once. Nick Sirianni is hoping the Eagles legend doesn’t do so again, just yet.

Sirianni spoke openly about wanting Graham back for the 2026 season while addressing the press at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

Graham, of course, called it a career after 15 NFL seasons — spent entirely with the Eagles — after they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX. In that game, he tore his triceps for the second time in the 2024 season.

Yet, Graham came out of retirement in October and played nine games for the Eagles. He had three sacks and eight tackles during the regular season while playing only 19% of the team’s defensive snaps in 2025 and their playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card Round.

Nick Sirianni Wants Brandon Graham Back in 2026

Sirianni is one of the winningest coaches in NFL history, with a .694 regular-season win percentage and two Super Bowl appearances. He’s made the playoffs in each of his first five seasons as Philadelphia coach.

His success has come from being open minded and, of course, surrounding himself with smart and talented people.

“You want to try to bring back as many guys as you possibly can, as far as having good people and good football players around,” Sirianni said. “You don’t win as many games as we’ve won together — especially a guy like [Graham] and say ‘no.’

Graham found himself feeling strongly about returning after he recovered from the triceps injury, and both Sirianni and general manager Howie Roseman lobbied to bring him back.

So even though Graham is going to turn 38 in April, Sirianni and the Eagles will find a space for Graham, especially if he comes into training camp healthy.

“Of course you want guys like [Graham] back,” Sirianni said. “I love the guys on our football team. Like I said, we’ve been through the highest of highs. We’ve been through lows together, and that’s when you come together as a football team and as people when you’re going through the ups and downs together.

“I love our team, and you name the guy, and I’m going to say ‘yeah. I want him back.’”

Howie Roseman Wants Brandon Graham Back Too

Graham, of course, has been a lifelong Eagles member since they drafted him 13th overall in 2010. He holds the franchise record for games (215) and is on his fourth head coach with the team.

So more important than even Sirianni is what Graham wants. He recently said on his “Unblocked” podcast he wishes to come back, as long as Roseman makes room for him.

Roseman also addressed the media, and the Graham situation, at the combine Tuesday. He spoke candidly about wanting the veteran defensive lineman back.

“Brandon Graham is always welcome in Philadelphia, obviously,” Roseman said. “When I think about what he’s done for us as a player, as a person, and then last year, when he came back, the versatility that he showed, going in at the end of the year and producing inside and playing defensive tackle, [he’s] just an all-time Eagles great and a future Eagles Hall of Famer.”
