New York Yankees Announce Roster Move After Rangers Game

On Tuesday evening, the New York Yankees played the Texas Rangers (in the Bronx) for the first game of their series.

The Yankees won by a score of 7-4.

Elmer Rodríguez went 4.2 innings, allowing six hits, four walks and three runs.

Following the game, the Yankees announced a roster move with Rodríguez.

The Yankees wrote (via X): “Following tonight’s game, the Yankees optioned RHP Elmer Rodríguez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.”
