On Tuesday night, the New York Mets will continue their series with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Mets are coming off a 4-0 loss on Monday.

Before Tuesday’s game, the Mets announced that they had made a roster move.

Anthony DiComo of MLB.com wrote: “Roster move: the Mets called up Austin Warren and placed Joey Gerber on the injured list with a right finger blister.”

Gerber is in his first season playing for the Mets.

He has also had stints with the Seattle Mariners and Tampa Bays over part of three MLB seasons.

SNY Mets wrote: “Gerber struck out 5 in two innings of scoreless relief last night vs. the Dodgers.”

Warren has appeared in five games for the Mets last season.

He went 1-0 with a 0.96 ERA.

Before the Mets, the 30-year-old spent time with the Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants over part of five MLB seasons.

The Mets have had a tough season as the last-place team in the National League East with a 7-10 record in 17 games.

They are 4-4 in the eight games they have played away from Citi Field in New York.

Following their series with the Dodgers, the Mets will head to Chicago for a series with the Cubs that starts on April 17.

Last season, they missed the 2025 MLB playoffs.
