New York Giants Lose 6-Foot DT Off Waivers to AFC Team

Earlier this week, the New York Giants released defensive tackle Elijah Chatman. Now, the undrafted free agent has found his new home.

The Cleveland Browns have announced that they have claimed Chatman off of waivers from the Giants. With this, Chatman will now be looking to impress after getting this fresh start with the Browns.

Chatman appeared in five games during this past season with the Giants, where he recorded three combined tackles. This is after he played in 17 games for the Giants as a rookie in 2024, posting one sack and 21 combined tackles.

Chatman will now be aiming to cement himself in a key role on the Browns, with his time in New York coming to a close.
