The 2025-2026 NBA regular season has officially concluded for the Denver Nuggets.
Nikola Jokic and his team finished the season off on a heater, winning 11 games in a row. Sunday’s finale on April 12 included a final victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
The Nuggets defeated the Spurs with a 128-118 score.
Now, the Nuggets are focused on just one team. With the third seed in the Western Conference officially locked up, the Nuggets are going head-to-head with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wolves finished the season with a 48-33 record.

Following Sunday’s loaded slate of season finales, the NBA announced the Game 1 schedule for the first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
The Nuggets are going to face the Timberwolves for Game 1 on Saturday, April 18. The game will tip off at 3:30 PM ET.
It will officially mark the fifth meeting between the Nuggets and the Timberwolves this season. They are in for potentially seven more games this postseason.

When the Nuggets and the Timberwolves met for their first matchup of the regular season on October 27, the Nuggets defeated the Timberwolves 127-114. That ended up firing up a three-game winning streak.
The November 15 outing resulted in a 123-112 win for the Nuggets. On Christmas, the two teams needed overtime to settle the score. The Nuggets finished on top with a 142-138 victory in the fifth quarter.
On March 1, the Timberwolves snapped the streak. Minnesota came up with a 117-108 victory. The star guard, Anthony Edwards, led the way with 21 points. He spoiled a stellar outing from Nikola Jokic, who racked up a near-triple-double with 35 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists.
