The Atlanta Braves are currently taking on the New York Yankees in a weekend series.
The Yanks took game one of the series by a score of 3-2, and Saturday’s game features a strong pitching matchup between Gerrit Cole and Chris Sale. At the moment of be producing this piece, the Yankees lead the Braves 3-2 headed into the sixth inning.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Chris Sale was called for a balk, which allowed a Yankees runner to score. As a result, Braves manager Walt Weiss took exception to the ruling and was tossed from the game.
It’s the first time as the Braves manager that Walt Weiss has been ejected from a game.
