Max Muncy can thank the Dodgers’ bullpen for giving him a chance to walk this game off. A three-run inning aided the Texas Rangers late in the game to knot the game at seven, and then Max Muncy came up in the bottom half of the ninth inning and said this game will go on no longer by hitting a towering blast against a left-hander, Latz. A hat trick for Muncy, and a big walk-off home run.
Edwin Diaz blew the save for the Dodgers, who battled all night, and became the first team in MLB to win 10 games, and are currently 10-3 to start the season.
