MLB Fans React To New York Yankees Roster Move Before Red Sox Game

On Wednesday night, the New York Yankees are playing the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park for the second game of their series.

They will look to build off their 4-0 win on Tuesday night.

Before the game, the team announced that Ryan Weathers is being placed on the paternity list.

The Yankees called up Jake Bird in his place.

Yankees PR Dept. wrote: “Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves: •Placed LHP Ryan Weathers on the paternity list. •Recalled RHP Jake Bird (#59) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.”
