On Thursday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Denver Nuggets at the Target Center for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.
The Timberwolves are coming off a 119-114 victory in Game 2 to tie up at the series at 1-1.
Anthony Edwards finished with 30 points, ten rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 10/25 from the field and 3/11 from three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.

For Thursday’s game, the Timberwolves have announced that Edwards will be listed as questionable on the injury report.
Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints wrote: “The Timberwolves have listed Anthony Edwards as questionable to play in Game 3 against the Nuggets due to his right knee injury management. Edwards is expected to be available.”
Edwards is in his sixth NBA season out of UGA (all with the Timberwolves).
He finished the 2025-26 regular season with averages of 28.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field and 39.9% from three-point range in 61 games.

Edwards And The Timberwolves
The Timberwolves finished the regular season as the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 49-33 record.
They are 26-15 in the 41 games they have played at the Target Center.
Last season, the Timberwolves made the Western Conference finals for the second straight year.

Edwards has turned the Timberwolves into a consistent winner, as they have made the NBA playoffs in each of the last five years.
He is also averaging 26.9 points per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field in 44 career playoff games.
That said, the franchise has been unable to reach the NBA Finals in their first 36 years.

Nuggets Right Now
The Nuggets will be looking to win a game in Minnesota after dropping Game 2 (at home).
They are the third seed with a 54-28 record.
On the road, the Nuggets have gone 26-15 in the 41 games they have played outside of Denver.
