Miguel Rojas Doesn’t Hold Back in Message to Dodgers Haters

Miguel Rojas was the savior for the Los Angeles Dodgers last year with the clutchest game-tying home run that you will ever see in Game 7 of the World Series. He’s been very open about how much he loves the organization and has somewhat become a spokesperson for the team.

Recently, while talking with Chris Rose Sports, Rojas did not hold back when asked about the backlash the Dodgers get from too much team spending.

Miguel Rojas Calls Out Dodgers Haters

The Dodgers are trying to go for their third consecutive World Series victory. After winning the Fall Classic last season, and then signing Kyle Tucker and Edwin Diaz, the public perception of the Dodgers is at an all-time high in terms of backlash and ‘hate’.

Miguel Rojas did not mince words as he and the team prepares for the quest for a three-peat:

“The Dodgers are great for baseball. [Other teams are] trying to blame someone for their losses. We don’t have to justify anything. We’re not looking for approval. Everyone wants what we had the last two years.”

The full clip by Chris Rose Sports highlights Chris Rose asking Miguel Rojas several questions about ‘haters’ who say the Dodgers spend too much.

“They’re going to blame it on the money, but we was two outs away from losing the World Series.”

Rojas gets to the point that the Dodgers’ opponents last season had the same number of opportunities.

A lot of MLB fans are starting to think that the Dodgers are ‘buying’ championships, which may or may not be the case, but the more they win, the more the public will continue to think Los Angeles is bad for baseball.

Miguel Rojas Signed $5.5 Million Deal This Offseason

Los Angeles Dodgers

GettyLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Miguel Rojas delivered a bold prediction for the Dodgers for the 2025 MLB season.

One could question if Miguel Rojas would have earned his one-year, $5.5 million contract in MLB free agency without the ninth-inning home run to send Game 7 of the 2025 World Series to extra innings.

However, he did do that, and he’s now back with the defending champions on his own $5.5 million deal.

Rojas is the ultimate leader in the Dodgers clubhouse, as multiple players outline it. Several players have also noted that Rojas is a good candidate to become an MLB manager past his playing days.

As a 13-year MLB veteran, Rojas could realistically call it quits after this season, depending on how much production he has paired with if he himself wants to continue to play. Rojas has a career .260 average with 194 doubles, 57 home runs, and a 19.2 bWAR in 1296 total games.

He’s had a very solid MLB career, and a three-peat might be one of the best ways to go out. It will certainly be a storyline to follow for Miguel Rojas, who has possibly the biggest home run in franchise history.
