Miami Heat Make Andrew Wiggins Decision Before Bucks Game

On Thursday night, the Miami Heat will host the Milwaukee Bucks in Florida.

The Heat are coming off a 150-129 victory over the Washington Wizards (at home).

Before Thursday’s game, the Heat have announced that they will remain without Wiggins.

Underdog NBA: “Andrew Wiggins (toe) listed out for Thursday.”

Wiggins is in his first full year playing for the Heat.

The former Kansas star is averaging 15.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 39.9% from three-point range in 57 games.

Before the Heat, Wiggins also had stints with the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves.

He was the first pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

His career averages are 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 45.1% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range in 823 games.

While Wiggins has never become the superstar that many thought he could be, he has been a solid role player (who helped Golden State win the 2022 title).

StatMuse wrote (in 2024): “Throwback to Andrew Wiggins in the 2022 Finals:

18.3 PPG 8.8 RPG 1.5 SPG 1.5 BPG

Was top two in PTS, REB and BLK for the Warriors.”
