March Madness has officially arrived for the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

A total of 67 games will be played across the women’s Division 1 tournament as teams compete for the national championship. The event begins with the First Four games before expanding into the traditional 64-team bracket.

The First Four matchups will take place on March 18 and March 19 on the home courts of the top seeds hosting the opening round. The tournament will conclude with the Final Four and national championship at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix.

Defending national champion Connecticut enters the tournament undefeated and as a favorite to capture its 13th national championship. Other top contenders include UCLA, Texas and South Carolina, all of whom are expected to make deep runs in the bracket.

How to Watch the NCAA Women’s March Madness Tournament

All games in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament will air on ESPN’s family of networks.

That includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNews. Select games will also be broadcast on ABC as the tournament progresses.

Fans can stream the games through ESPN’s digital platforms as well as several streaming services that carry ESPN channels.

Streaming options include Hulu + Live TV, Sling and Fubo, each of which offers free trial options for new users.

Another option for viewers is the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN bundle, which provides access to ESPN’s streaming content along with the two additional platforms.

NCAA Women’s Tournament Key Dates and Schedule

The tournament schedule begins with the First Four games before transitioning into the full 64-team bracket.

The First Four will take place March 18 and March 19 on ESPN2.
