A man was shot to death in a drive-by early Friday in Roseland on the Far South Side.
The man, 29, was outside in the 200 block of West 108th Street around 4:30 a.m. when a red truck approached and someone inside opened fire before fleeing west, Chicago police said.
The man was shot in the flank and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No one was in custody.
Area 2 detectives are investigating.
