A man was hospitalized after being shot in Roseland Monday afternoon, according to Chicago police.
The man, 25, was on the street in the 11000 block of South Vernon Avenue at 2:13 p.m. when he was shot in the head, police said in a statement. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
No one is in custody, police said.
