Man reported missing in Douglas County; family hasn’t heard from him in 3 years

Douglas County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who was last seen in 2023 and whose family hasn’t heard from him in more than three years.

Olaniyi Bamidele Ibiwoye, 40, was last seen in May 2023 in Douglas County, according to a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office post on X. Deputies learned he renewed his driver’s license in August 2023.

Can you help? We are sending this information out again in hopes that someone may know where Olaniyi Bamidele Ibiwoye is.

He is known to frequent homeless shelters in Colorado Springs and Denver.

Deputies were alerted to his case months ago, and detectives mistakenly thought they had located him.

He is a 5-foot-9-inch man with black hair and brown eyes.
