Man’s death on U.S. 6 in Denver ruled a suicide

Denver Police Department announced its investigation of the shooting around 7 p.m. on Saturday, according to a post on social media platform X. A caller phoned the police at 6:40 p.m. after hearing a gunshot, said spokesperson Doug Schepman.

The crime occurred near the 2100 block of North High Street, with an adult male victim found and transported to Denver Health in critical condition, Schepman added.

Near 11 p.m., the victim had died. Schepman directed questions about the victim’s identity to the Denver City Coroner’s Office.
