Man fatally stabbed in San Francisco’s Mission District

A man was fatally stabbed early Friday in San Francisco’s Mission District, the police said.

The attack happened around 12:11 a.m. Feb. 6 in the 1900 block of Mission Street, between 15th and 16th streets. The victim was declared dead at a hospital.

Shortly afterward, a suspect was arrested: a 47-year-old San Francisco man apprehended near 15th and Mission streets. He was found to be carrying a knife, the police said.


The suspect faces charges of murder and possession of drug paraphernalia.
