Man arrested in connection with San Jose home-invasion robbery

SAN JOSE – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a home-invasion robbery last fall in San Jose, police said.

The U.S. Marshals Service apprehended the suspect, identified as a 37-year-old man from Charlotte, North Carolina, on Feb. 23 in Chatham County, Georgia, San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez said in a news release Friday. He was extradited to California and booked into Santa Clara County jail on charges related to the robbery.

The robbery was reported on the afternoon of Oct. 27 in the 1900 block of Story Road. Three women entered the residence and took cash, identification information and other items, according to police. A fourth suspect served as a getaway driver.

Detectives identified three of the four suspects. One of the women, a 35-year-old Anaheim resident, was arrested for an unrelated incident on Dec. 29 in Southern California.

The other women have not been arrested. One has been identified as a 34-year-old Anaheim resident. The other has not been identified. She is described as 30 to 45 years old and 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a medium build and light complexion.
